Hyaluronic acid binds large amounts of water through hydrogen bonds. In the dermis it is part of the viscoelastic balance between dermis and epidermis, and it supports cell proliferation. We use it as sodium hyaluronate, the salt form, for stability in solution.
Short chains of amino acids that carry instructions to skin cells. Argireline, SNAP-8, Leuphasyl and Inyline are used for the look of expression lines; Matrixyl synthe'6 is associated with collagen-supporting signalling; Eyedeline was developed for the eye contour.
Dimethylaminoethanol counters the slackening of the skin by improving tone, so a loose contour looks smoother and firmer. It also acts as an antioxidant and helps reduce cellular stress.
Vitamin A supports elasticity and density. B vitamins (biotin, pyridoxine, panthenol) regulate metabolism and protein synthesis, the basis of healthy hair. Vitamin E and riboflavin add antioxidant support.
Glutathione is the body's own antioxidant tripeptide. With tranexamic acid and ascorbic acid it forms a well-established trio for formulas that target uneven tone and radiance.
L-carnitine transports fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are used for energy. In our body formula it is combined with sodium deoxycholate, CG-Lipoxyn and Lipotrofin, complexes developed for contour work.
Ginkgo biloba, troxerutin and chamomile support the scalp formula. Bioplankton supports barrier and renewal in the facial line. Centella asiatica and calendula oil soothe and condition in body care.
Organic silicon is a natural component of connective tissue. With minerals of European Pharmacopoeia grade, it is part of the foundation of our facial line.
